Hackney Council appointed Support in Sport (SIS) to supply and install a 3G Pitch to Mabley Green.

The standard of service received from appointment through to post completion was superb while communication level was second to none.

The contract was confirmed from the outset with all agreed project deliverables (price,time,quality) achieved within the contract period.

SIS Pitches”site management was knowledgeable, organised and tidy at all times. Quality of installation was delivered to highest standard while both operation and maintenance manuals and training for maintenance staff were delivered promptly.

It was a pleasure to work with SIS Pitches team and I would recommend SIS Pitches to any organisation interested in similar installation for their facility.

The hockey pitch and football/rugby pitch resurfacing works at Harrow School went to plan being on time and on budget. We are pleased with the appearance of the finished facilities which met the performance requirements of the specification.

Loughborough University appointed SIS Pitches in June 2015 on a design and build contract for the conversion of the 1st XV rugby pitch to an artificial surface. This comprised the conversion of its 1stXV rugby pitch to a 3G SISTurf Rugger 65mm grass pitch with a 20mm insitu shockpad, both installed by and manufactured by SIS Pitches.

The SIS Pitches team, led by Jon Turnbull provided an excellent service both in terms of the quality of the finished product and the contract service offered. The project was completed on time despite challenging timeframes with a proactive, customer focused and non-contractual approach.

New SISTurf pitch installation to meet FIFA Quality Pro standards at Court Place Farm, Oxford City F.C

A lot of planning and hard work has gone into this project over a long period of time which has now come to fruition, creating one of the best football facilities in the home counties.

We worked very closely with SIS Pitches to ensure that a 1st class facility was created in a tight deadline, enabling us to be fully ready for the 2017/18 season in the Vanarama National League South.

With over 40 teams using the extensive facilities here we hope that all sides benefit from the playing surface and have a successful season.

SIS Pitches demonstrated an excellent understanding of our requirements and their team were very accommodating with the existing facilities that needed to stay open on the site. With 100 apprentices and a busy thoroughfare of users SIS Pitches and Matthew Hodgson the Site Manager in particular worked really closely with us to ensure a safe and well managed environment.

I would like to say how helpful, professional and efficient SIS Pitches (UK) Ltd were during the 3 months they were on site constructing our new full size 3G artificial Grass Pitch which was completed in July 2017.

It was a pleasure dealing with SIS Pitches both on a day to day basis and also at our regular site meetings where they kept us fully informed at all time.  They had rigorous systems in place including health and safety procedures which passed all scrutiny from our local council.

Staff on site were always approachable, friendly and very knowledgeable.  Regional directors/manager also visited regularly and were always available to answer any queries we had.

SIS Pitches went above and beyond the practicalities by accommodated our exam period where construction noise needed to be kept to a minimum when students were sitting their exams nearly.  They were flexible where they could and considerate when needed.

At the final handover meeting only one minor issue was raised which was swiftly rectified and underlined the  first class service we experienced from them throughout disruptive and inconvenient process involved in building a 3G pitch on a school site during term time. Thank you

It has been a pleasure working with SIS Pitches during our Sports Grounds development; from tender through to design and delivery, the attention to detail and professionalism has been outstanding. The communication throughout the project has been excellent and helped support the engagement with our students and community users. During the project all SIS Pitches staff upheld high standards of site cleanliness and safety ensuring our other services could continue as normal.

The University and our customers are all very happy with the final pitches, the quality of the pitches and the finish, thus supporting our vision of sporting excellence.

We have really enjoyed training on the new pitches so far and as players we know that excellent surfaces like these, especially during the winter months, can help give us an advantage over the course of a season. A good training surface is also important when it comes to injury prevention too and I’m sure our new pitches will bring us many more benefits as the months progress.

Cundall Manor School required SIS Pitches to deliver a turnkey package to a tight budget and deadline. The company were very accommodating and worked closely with us throughout the delivery of the project. Regular and open communication in the run up to the start of the project and then throughout the build ensured the senior management from the school were kept aware of progress and developments at all times, and that there was no slippage in either timescale or costs.

It was paramount that no-one’s safety either on site or around the site, was compromised. Strict adherence to Health and Safety protocols, both statutory and those requested by the school, ensured this was so throughout the duration of the project. Similarly, the professional conduct of the entire site team, the general tidy appearance of site times and the minimal disturbances to normal school day activities and use of adjacent sports grounds, were all exemplary. The superb playing surface has been eagerly used by a range of children from ages 6 – 16, hockey is a major sport at Cundall and the opportunity to play on our own astro has been wonderful.

SIS Pitches were very highly recommended to us by in particular our friends at Saracens. It was a major project for Rosslyn Park, the biggest capital outlay for many a moon and we wanted to work with the best. We are absolutely delighted with our new pitch, it is an amazing facility and the amount and quality of rugby that is now being played on our 1 pitch main site is fantastic! We could not be happier with our decision to install an artificial pitch facility and, as importantly, our decision to work with SIS Pitches. We would highly recommend SIS Pitches to anyone looking to make the conversion from grass to 4G. Extremely professional from start to finish and a pleasure to work with.

I am delighted to have the opportunity to confirm that the SIS Pitches team produced a high grade product for us, within time, to the budget agreed, and in a very professional manner in relation to us as client. As an organisation, the Eastwoodbury Lane Centre is small – very small – with few clients, a very small annual budget, and considerable reliance on a management team of volunteers. As such, the project to create a 3G pitch represented a massive increase in financial and management commitment. We quickly identified and accepted that Phil Blackwell and his SIS Pitches team were both honest and reliable. A few issues were raised by us during construction, but Phil listened carefully, adapted the programme and delivered with no delays. The pitch looks magnificent… We, and all visitors, are immensely impressed with the lines and the methods by which they were created.
