Vacancy Synthetic Turf Maintenance Supervisor / Operative (Full Time)

SIS Group is a world leading group of companies in the manufacture of artificial grass and in the design, construction, installation, maintenance, and aftercare of synthetic and natural sports pitches throughout the UK and overseas.

With a growing number of nationwide UK projects, particularly within the educational and sports sectors, our UK based company – SIS Pitches – is seeking a competent Maintenance Supervisor / Operative.

This role will be involved in supporting all aspects of the planning, construction and delivery of the highest quality artificial surface sports pitches and managing construction sites. The work will involve varied locations regionally throughout the UK.

The successful candidate shall ideally be experienced in synthetic turf maintenance, with the relevant technical skills and competencies, although training shall be given in relevant industry processes.
Experience in sports pitch maintenance, sports construction or artificial surface installation is preferable. However, we welcome applications from site managers with the right construction skills levels and a positive attitude towards site supervision.

This is a customer-facing role so the ability to interact with clients and end-users in a positive fashion is essential. The role will require a mix of both lone working and teamwork. You must be highly organized with sound experience in logistics, resource planning, time management and co-ordination; with a passion and commitment to the delivery of a high-quality customer-focussed service. Excellent communication, interpersonal and some basic IT skills are required with an ability to solve problems, think creatively, often under pressure. An ability to think ahead and identify risks is critical, as is a commitment to quality and health and safety.
