New Hybrid Pitch Constructed at Laugardalsvöllur

SIS Pitches recently completed the installation of a bespoke hybrid field system at Laugardalsvöllur, Iceland’s national soccer stadium in Reykjavik. Designed to withstand the country’s harsh subpolar climate, the new surface integrates SIS Grass hybrid technology with advanced undersoil heating and irrigation systems.

By combining innovative field management systems, this elite-level surface is built for year-round performance and will play a key role in supporting the growth of Icelandic soccer on the international stage.
