Installing a new running track for Claremont Stadium

SIS Pitches is proud to complete the supply and installation of an IAAF-certified and tested running track. This project involved the removal of the old running track at Claremont Stadium and replacing it with a new IAAF Olympic-certified and tested running track.

The new vivid blue running surface provided a major attraction, with people turning up to see the new track being installed.

Line marking was done by third-party specialists to ensure the track could gain certification from the world athletic governing body, the IAAF.

The new facility is an Olympic-standard eight-lane 400-meter running track and replaces the existing surface which has been in place over 20 years. The new surface includes a 13 mm porous track system (blue, base primer spray, SBR rubber base mat, floodcoat blue, and EPDM rubber).
