60% of the upcoming AFC Asian Cup matches will be played on a SIS Grass Hybrid field, with stars such as Son Heung-min, Mitoma, Salem Al-Dawsari, and more expected to light up the tournament.

At SIS Pitches, we are extremely proud to be trusted to supply the surface for some of the most important sporting fixtures of the year.

Back in 2021, our team was tasked with stitching 6 of the 8 stadium fields for the 2022 Qatar FIFA World Cup. To ensure the players had a surface just as good to train on, we also designed and built 34 training pitches across Qatar.

The legacy that these tournaments leave behind is undeniable. Not only did Lionel Messi secure his first World Cup, but the stadiums built for these tournaments will eventually go on to host further immense sporting occasions.

Today Qatar will host Lebanon in the opening match of the AFC Asian Cup. Throughout the tournament, there will be 51 games played, of which 35 are played on a SIS Grass Hybrid field. The six fields are Ahmad Bin Ali, Al Janoub, Al Thumama Stadium, Education City Stadium, and Khalifa International.
