Fenerbahçe Latest Süper Lig Club To Join SIS Grass Hybrid Field Revolution

The returfing at the Şükrü Saracoğlu Stadium is set to take place in June, with SIS Pitches also reconstructing the field at the Can Bartu training facilities. Fenerbahçe completes the group of Turkey’s four biggest clubs, all of which have a working association with SIS Pitches.

Current league leaders Beşiktaş have the SIS Grass Hybrid surface installed at the Vodafone Arena and Nevzat Demir training facilities, while Trabzonspor and Galatasaray have been playing their home matches on hybrid turf at the Medical Park Arena and the Türk Telekom Arena, respectively.

The global field specialists have also completed work at Kasimpasa, Gaziantepspor, Caykur Rizespor, and Trabzonspor’s former home, the Avni Aker Stadium.

The SIS Grass Hybrid field that will be installed at Fenerbahçe will use the same hybrid technology as the Luzhniki Stadium, the venue for the FIFA World Cup final in Russia next summer.

The Luzhniki Stadium is one of six stadiums SIS Pitches is working on ahead of the tournament.
