SIS Pitches completes st paul’s school project-in record time!
SIS Pitches has completed another full service project, this time at St Paul’s School in London.
The full-size rugby pitch installed at the site in Hammersmith, West London, was SISTurf Rugger 65, laid on a 20mm in situ shockpad in order to meet the latest World Rugby standards.
Given St Pauls’ position as a leading independent school in the UK, there was understandably a comprehensive and competitive tender process. SIS Pitches presented great proficiency and knowledge in order to successfully win the project, enhancing our already outstanding references in this market!
Requirements
The blueprint for a successful project was thorough, with design, planning, construction and ongoing maintenance all required. These works were all undertaken in-house by SIS Pitches, including all groundworks, construction, surfacing and fencing.
St Pauls School’s location certainly posed some issues during the planning process, with its proximity adjacent to bank of the River Thames leading to imposed ecology and arboriculture restrictions, alongside a particularly challenging access!
Despite these challenges, the diligence and professionalism of the SIS Pitches staff, coupled with the excellent partnership built with the client at the ‘School, meant the entire project was completed in just 9 weeks!
professionalism
Edward Flute Chief Operating Officer at St Paul’s School, was very pleased with the finished project.
‘We were extremely impressed with the professional manner in which SIS Pitches carried out the works at our site.’
‘Their team was able to overcome substantial logistical obstacles with thorough planning and no shortage of knowledge nor skill. To complete such a complex job in only 9 weeks, ahead of schedule, has been testament to their professionalism.’
