Our success comes from our people
SIS Pitches is a successful privately owned company with no debt. Our owner, George Mullan, has a background in investing in growing businesses. He purchased Support in Sport in 2001, while based in the Netherlands, moved to the UK in 2005 under the SIS Pitches name with the aim of creating a world-leading sports pitch construction company, and he’s doing just that.
There’s no ‘I’ in SIS
As we all know, sport is not about any one person but the team as a whole. All of our staff bring a wealth of experience to the business with a passion for sport and client satisfaction. To ensure project success, our management structure ensures that each project has its own site manager who reports into a regional manager. We also employ a range of specialists with leading industry experience, including professional groundsmen and designers so that we can provide the best advice to our customers.
An international operation, based in the UK
We’re proud to be a truly international business working from our head office in Cumbria in the UK. This is our headquarters and where our national and international contracts are managed.
We also have our own UK-based synthetic turf manufacturing factory. Based in Cumbria, this operation employs local people to produce premium quality sports turf to a wide range of specifications.
Today, SIS Pitches employs more than 300 people. It has offices in Ireland, the UK, the Netherlands, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates and Angola.
