Pitch Ventilation System

High temperatures, lack of airflow and shaded areas can be common problems for natural sports pitches. A solution to this problem is SIS Fan, a highly resilient and durable pitch ventilation and air circulation fan. It actively circulates air in the shaded areas of the pitch caused by the stadium shadow, towards the sunny areas.

Temperature Regulation

SIS Fan effectively balances field temperatures, moving cool air, reaching up to 62m, from shaded areas to sunlit regions, and is capable of reducing surface temperature by 7-8 °C. By creating a uniform temperature across the field, SIS Fan minimises risk to the playing surface

Disease Prevention

By reducing humidity and maintaining optimal airflow, the SIS Fan helps prevent the onset of diseases associated with highly humid conditions.

Mist Functionality

With integrated nozzles and a water connection, SIS Fan can provide mist to enhance airflow during ventilation. Once the fan reaches the desired speed you can activate the mist functionality. The mist function has an effective distance of up to 50 metres.

It is common for large stadiums to experience microclimates due to limited airflow and the high volume of spectators. This is even more prevalent in stadiums that allow little sun or air to flow through the roof. Our pitch ventilation system can alleviate these issues through circulation before and after large-scale events, especially during maintenance practices.

After events that have put the playing surface under extreme stress, such as concerts or matches, it is essential to aid the pitch in recovering as quickly as possible. Creating uniform airflow and temperature and reducing the risk of disease will help all areas of the pitch recover to their strongest state.

Setup & Stability

Our team of experts deliver and install the system to your facility. SIS Fan is secured with the fixing feet to ensure stability during operation and comes installed with turf tyres, reducing surface damage to pitches.

Operational Configuration

You can utilise manual controls to adjust fan speed and axis movements. For automatic operation, configure and activate up to four programs with specified settings for fan speed, water spray, and axis angles.

Construct & Install

Our team can manage the entire installation process for you as part of a full pitch construction project. We ensure that the SIS Fan is installed correctly and that grounds staff are trained to use the system efficiently.

Supply Only

We offer the Hydrobox as a standalone unit for those who wish to install the system independently. This option allows you to integrate the Hydrobox into your existing irrigation system, giving you control over the installation process. We can also supply further units if you already have a Hydrobox system.
