The SIS Pitches ME team is best known for installing and maintaining many of the breath-taking stadium pitches in the Middle East. Most recently, they have been responsible for maintenance at the King Fahd International Stadium, Al Nayhan Stadium, and Mohammad Bin Zayed Stadium, as well as preparing many training centres for some of the biggest football clubs during the Winter World Cup break.
As expected, the challenges faced in the Middle East are much different from those in the UK or Eastern Europe. The average temperature and level of rainfall mean there is a slight difference in approach to maintaining a pitch. However, this never stops the team from delivering a perfect playing surface, and this is shown through their impressive client portfolio.
It’s no mean feat preparing a pitch for the likes of Barcelona, Real Madrid, or Manchester United, but we can always put our trust in the Middle East team to deliver!
SIS Pitches Eastern Europe
The Eastern Europe division of SIS Pitches is based in Turkey. You can regularly find them completing grounds maintenance for Galatasaray, Fenerbache, and Trabzonspor, just to name a few. Their impressive client portfolio is truly a reflection of the immaculate service they provide.
Turkey is notoriously known for its passionate supporters, and the passion is also prominent among the groundsmen. The team takes huge pride in providing an elite playing surface that gives them an edge over their competitors.
In comparison to the Middle East, the weather can be much more diverse. This results in a different approach to maintaining the playing surfaces. It’s not uncommon to see snow in Turkey, and especially not in Azerbaijan or Turkmenistan. The ability to react to the unpredictable nature of the climate is just one of the factors that highlight the versatility of the EE grounds team. The diversity of the team’s skills also allows them to collaborate all across the globe with the teams from SISGrass and SIS International.

SISPlus UK
We pride ourselves on being a one-stop solution, with the SISPlus team being an integral part of that process. SISPlus are our in-house sports surface maintenance and aftercare experts. Not only does the team carry out maintenance to extend the lifespan of the pitch, but they can also train and advise staff on how to carry out routine maintenance to ensure the playing surface is pristine between maintenance visits.
The one thing that stands out about the SISPlus team is the diversity of their work. One day they could be installing flag post sockets at the Rangers FC training ground; another could be at the University of Nottingham creating a new rugby dugout area; and the following day could be spent replenishing the infill of a MUGA at a primary school down the road.
