The Role

As a Process Operative, you will play an essential role in the production of the highest quality of a variety of sports surfaces for clients both nationally and internationally. This will involve working collaboratively with the wider team. Once fully trained, you will be competent on all bespoke SIS Pitches machines, providing support and flexibility as required.

Key Responsibilities

• To undertake key manufacturing processes for the production of artificial grass and sports surfaces. As a process operative, to operate the manufacturing machinery, to ensure production of quality products for SIS clients.   It is intended that all operatives shall have the flexibility to cross-train and be able to operate all machinery but shall specialize in one manufacturing area as the business need arises.
• To contribute to process improvements and efficiencies through process compliance, innovation and ensure that products are manufactured to the highest quality in a safe and environmentally friendly way.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous manufacturing experience.
• Strong communication skills.
• A proactive and positive approach, happy to work as a team to better performance.
• Willing to undergo training to learn new skills.
• Forklift licence is beneficial although training will be provided.
