Job description: Financial Controller

SIS Middle East is growing at a brisk pace, including recently opening an office in Saudi Arabia, and the “Financial Controller” will be pivotal in ensuring the financial integrity of our business in the region. As the financial architect behind the scenes, they will predominantly manage all finance and accounting operations and report on the financial health of each project, bridging the gap between operational execution and fiscal responsibility. They are tasked with the preparation & submission of management information in a timely and accurate manner, meticulous budget analysis, and forecasting, all while ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

The Financial Controller will collaborate closely with managers as well as with finance teams across the globe (UK, Holland, Turkey), providing them with real-time financial insights and guidance to aid in decision-making. They will oversee the financial aspects of diverse and dynamic project portfolios, necessitating occasional travel for thorough financial oversight.

They will enhance financial processes and controls, aiming to minimize financial risks, enhance the accuracy of reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with company and international standards.

Reporting directly to the SIS Middle East Managing Director, the Financial Controller will work hand in hand with senior management to refine financial strategies that align with the company’s growth objectives. They will also engage with clients, contractors, and suppliers, ensuring financial clarity and adherence to contractual agreements.
