The Client – Warwick School and King’s High School
Warwick School and King’s High School, part of the Warwick Independent Schools Foundation, are known for their commitment to academic and sporting excellence. With over 500 pupils across 35 rugby teams, Warwick School has a national reputation for producing elite-level athletes.
The Background
To enhance their facilities and provide students with year-round access to top-tier sporting environments, the schools partnered with SIS Pitches to design and install playing surfaces for rugby, tennis, and netball.
The Brief
The project involved:
- Installing a 3G rugby pitch to accommodate all-weather training and matches.
- Constructing a multi-use porous macadam court for tennis and netball, complete with lighting and equipment.
- Delivering facilities that would benefit the schools and the wider community.
What We Did:
3G Rugby Pitch
SIS Pitches designed, manufactured, and installed the 3G rugby pitch, ensuring:
- All-weather access for training and matches.
- A durable surface capable of handling high-intensity use by over 500 students across 35 rugby teams.
- Enabled evening training sessions with floodlighting.
The pitch was completed in time for the new academic year, transforming the winter training experience for students.

Multi-Use Porous Macadam Courts
To further enhance their facilities, SIS Pitches installed a vibrant and versatile blue court featuring:
- A two-layer porous macadam surface suitable for tennis and netball.
- Four tennis and netball courts with dual markings for flexible use.
- Floodlighting will allow evening play and training sessions.
- Complete drainage systems, fencing, and sports equipment to support various activities.
