Claremont Stadium gets a brand new track from SIS Pitches

SIS Pitches are proud to complete the supply and installation of an IAAF certified and tested running track.

This project involved the removal of the old running track at Claremont stadium and replacing it with a new IAAF Olympic certified and tested running track.

The new vivid blue running surface provided a major attraction, with people turning up to see the new track being installed.

Line marking was done by third party specialists to ensure the track could gain certification from the world athletic governing body, the IAAF.

The new facility is an Olympic standard eight-lane 400-metre running track and replaces the existing surface which has been in place over 20 years. The new surface includes 13 mm pourous track system blue, base primer spray, SBR Rubber base mat, floodcoat blue and EPDM rubber.
