SIS Pitches embarked on an exciting project in August 2019 for the Dromahair Arts & Recreation Centre (DARC), in county Leitrim.
The construction of the 7,000m2 new facility is located beneath the beautiful Crevelea Abbey, at the banks of the River Bonet. The project involved the construction and installation of a full-sized FIFA quality and World Rugby certified 3G pitch. A SISTurf Synergy 60 Pro pitch on a prefabricated shockpad was fitted, including all civils, drainage, fencing, floodlighting and synthetic pitch installation works.
The all-weather Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) approved floodlit playing surface was completed in time for the grand opening in October 2019. The pitch was deemed a huge success and a great addition to the facilities in Dromahair.
