The pitch is restored to match-ready condition within four weeks after these events.

The Brief

The club needed a surface that could perform under the intense demands of both football and concerts. It had to be resilient enough to handle large crowds and heavy staging yet still deliver the quality required for professional football matches after quick turnarounds.

What We Did

Event Preparation

• Collaborated with event production teams to ensure proper protective measures, like using the right sheeting and boarding, were in place to shield the pitch from damage.
• Guided the setup to ensure weight load limits were respected to prevent compaction.

Post Event renovation

• After each event, we stripped away organic buildup using a Koro FTM machine to remove damaged grass and prepare the surface for renewal.
• Additional Koro work was followed by raking and brushing to smooth out the surface.
• Performed deep tine aeration to relieve compaction caused by concert foot traffic.
• Sand-dressed the pitch and re-seeded it to encourage even growth and maintain high playability.

Consistent maintenance

• Worked closely with the grounds team to provide tailored advice and support, ensuring the pitch always met the club’s standards for safety and performance.
