SIS Pitches Supports Host Venues Ahead of U20 Women’s World Cup Poland 2026

SIS Pitches is once again at the forefront of international tournament football, playing a key role in preparing venues for the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup Poland 2026, set to take place this September.

Across key host stadiums, the SIS Pitches Central Europe team is delivering its industry-leading SIS GRASS Hybrid stitching technology, ensuring playing surfaces meet the highest international standards required for elite competition.

Work is already underway at several venues, including Stadion ŁKS in Łódź. Here, the team has successfully completed a full returf of the stadium pitch – marking a major milestone in the tournament preparation programme and laying the foundation for a high-performance playing surface.

The next phase of work will see SIS GRASS Hybrid stitching at Stadion ŁKS in May. This process reinforces the natural grass with synthetic fibres, creating a more durable and stable surface capable of withstanding the demands of tournament football. Hybrid stitching is also scheduled to be installed at Zagłębiowski Park Sportowy in Sosnowiec as preparations continue across Poland.

As part of the tournament preparations, SIS Pitches is implementing its proven hybrid grass technology, widely used across the world’s leading sporting competitions, including the FIFA World Cup, Rugby World Cup, Premier League, and major European leagues.
