SIS Hydrobox has been developed to make life easier for grounds teams. Whether you’re looking for better access for maintenance and cleaning or to minimise disruption to your pitch, it is built with premium materials, and will be installed by experts.
SIS Hydrobox is compatible with existing pop-up irrigation systems, it’s specially designed perforated base allows effective drainage and can hold hybrid grass profiles.
Ground staff install pop-up sprinkler heads into the square box, positioning it below the turf profile. Using a hand tool, they can easily remove both the Hydrobox and sprinkler heads from the field profile, enabling seamless fixing, changing, or cleaning of sprinklers.

Hydrobox allows grass to grow immediately around the sprinkler head, and can be removed easily with minimum disturbance to the surrounding area. Ground staff can hand stitch SIS Grass hybrid fibres within the box, guaranteeing the same performance as the rest of the surface.

SIS Hydrobox allows grounds teams to keep a consistent surface, right across the full pitch. Through ongoing maintenance of sprinkler heads through the season, the area around them can be kept at the profile seen across the full pitch.
Flexibility
There are two options of SIS HydroBox available, to ensure its compatibility with the most commonly used irrigation systems. Can be used in hybrid grass pitches, as well as fully natural pitches.
HOW IT WORKS
MARK THE AREA
Begin by locating the pop-up sprinkler head and marking the area where the Hydrobox will be installed. This ensures precise placement and integration with your irrigation setup.
EXCAVATION
Carefully excavate the grass and root-zone material from around the pop-up sprinkler to the necessary depth. This step prepares the ground for installation. Ensure the edges of the excavated area are clean and straight. This precision allows for a tight fit and optimal performance of the Hydrobox.
LOWER THE BOX
Use the removal tool to carefully lower the Hydrobox over the sprinkler and into the ground. The box’s design allows it to fit securely and flush with the surface.
LEVEL AND LOCK
Once the box is level and flush with the surrounding soil, lock it into place to ensure stability and functionality.
REFILLING
Place the rubber cap over the pop-up hole, and refill the Hydrobox with the excavated root zone material and/or sand.
HAND STITCH
You can stitch SIS Grass Hybrid fibers into place within the box and over-seed to blend seamlessly with the surrounding turf, ensuring uniform performance across the field.
MAINTENANCE ACCESS
When needing to access your sprinklers, use the hand tool supplied to easily lift the Hydrobox.

Installation
Our team can manage the entire installation process for you, whether it's part of a full pitch construction project or installing it into an existing surface. We ensure that the Hydrobox is installed correctly and that grounds staff are trained to use the system efficiently.
Supply Only
We offer the Hydrobox as a standalone unit for those who wish to install the system independently as part of your own pitch construction project. We can supply further units if you already have a Hydrobox system and can offer training on installation and usage.
