FULL pitch reConstruction
In June 2020, SIS Pitches started a full reconstruction of a natural grass pitch at the FC Copenhagen training centre in Denmark.
The existing pitch was excavated to a depth of 450mm, and the new drainage and irrigation was installed by our in-house team.
The pitch construction consisted of 150mm gravel, 200mm sand and 100mm of root zone. The pitch was then seeded with a Ryegrass mix.
SISGrass installation
After 4 weeks of seeding, our team then installed SISGrass hybrid technology into the natural pitch. SISGrass offers the best hybrid surfaces in the world today, installed at every major football tournament in the last few years.
With the fastest installation on the market, SISGrass were able to complete the pitch in 8 days, using 3 SISGrass Universal machines. These machines are 100% electric and equipped with laser-guidance, which ensures a seamless installation for the client, and a quiet installation to benefit the nearby residents.
