In this case study, we will discuss how Ibrox Stadium, the home of Glasgow Rangers, accommodates gigs and events on their SISGrass surface, and return it to immaculate playing condition within a month.
The surface has hosted a variety of gigs from Hollywood talent such as Harry Styles, Elton John and Bon Jovi, with a typical turnaround of just 4 weeks.

How do we do it?
Once your event is complete, we recommend the grounds experts strip the organic contents using a Koro FTM machine or similar. Removing as much grass and organic build up as possible at this stage will further enhance your abilities to produce a quality surface year after year.
The second stage involves additional work with the Koro machine followed by raking and brushing.
Deep tine aeration will be then relieve any excess compaction created from the event footfall.
After that, the surface will need to be sand-dressed and re-seeded.
Key considerations:
- You will need to ensure that the event production teams are using the correct protection sheeting and boarding solutions when laying over your pitch. Be mindful to check the weight load capabilities of the boarding
