New 3G Pitch UNDER schools’ framework
SIS Pitches have updated another pitch for a school over the summer and it is now in use at the start of the new school term.
SIS Pitches are part of a framework agreement to provide the design, manufacture, installation and maintenance of artificial grass pitches. The agreement is in support of the Rugby Football Union (RFU), Football Association (FA), Sport England, England Hockey and Football Foundation (FF) capital investment programmes.
SIS Pitches carried out a full range of works to totally upgrade the facilities. This included removing the existing carpet, shockpad and fencing, extending the width of the pitch and installing a new collector drain and new perimeter kerbs.
New pitches, sports equipment and floodlighting
A new in-situ shockpad and 3G surface suitable for football and rugby training were then installed, along with new twin bar fencing, new sports equipment, plus refurbishment of the existing floodlighting and the fitting of a new mowing strip.
We have transformed the old sand-filled system to the very latest 3G system suitable for football and rugby. The project was completed on time and within budget and will be an excellent asset to the school and the local community.
