Pitch Reconstruction in Baku became one of the best in Azerbaijan

So works started by removing existing synthetic pitch using SIS Carpetbeater machine – this separates the sand and rubber infill and simultaneously rolls the synthetic carpets to make the surface ready to stock new pitches.

Because the area is located next to sea and is in a windy location, the SIS Pitches team worked hard on it’s installtion. The surface was constructed on a 1m water table area, with membrane insulation including discharge pumps. The full infrastructure and construction was completed in 1.5 months and layed with 20mm turf for U17UEFA Championship Games and Final during May 2016.

Now, the pitch serves for National Team Games and league rounds – it is becoming one of the best pitches in Azerbaijan purely because SIS Pitches constructed it.
