Job description: Project Accountant

SISGrass is growing at a brisk pace, and the “Project Accountant” will be pivotal in ensuring the financial integrity of our projects worldwide. As the financial architect behind the scenes, they will rigorously manage and report on the financial health of each project, bridging the gap between operational execution and fiscal responsibility. They are tasked with the precise tracking of project expenditures, meticulous budget analysis, and forecasting, all while ensuring compliance with financial regulations within the Netherlands as well with the Headquarter in the UK.

The Project Accountant will collaborate closely with the managers as well as with the finance staff in the UK, providing them with real-time financial insights and guidance to aid in decision-making. They will oversee the financial aspects of diverse and dynamic project portfolios, which include prestigious clients like FC Barcelona, Juventus, and Real Madrid, necessitating occasional travel to these iconic locations for thorough financial oversight.

This role is crucial in upholding SISGrass’s reputation for financial diligence. They will enhance financial processes and controls, aiming to minimize financial risks, enhance the accuracy of reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or international financial reporting standards.

Reporting directly to the Group Finance Controller, the Project Accountant will work hand in hand with senior management to refine financial strategies that align with the company’s growth objectives. They will also engage with clients, contractors, and suppliers, ensuring financial clarity and adherence to contractual agreements.
